A Natural Method of Overcoming Anxiety Attacks

I knew a person that suffered from anxiety attacks from a very young age. Although they lived in the time whenever it was not really discussed, you cannot deny the fact that they were having a problem and even though the doctors were unable to help them, they continued to look for an answer that would allow them to overcome the panic that they were feeling.

The difficulty is, they first began to experience anxiety attacks and they felt as if they were going to lose control of their entire body. There were times whenever they ended up in the emergency room, thinking that they were having a heart attack and all this did was to reinforce the misconception that there wasn’t really anything wrong with them. The other feelings that they had were classic symptoms of anxiety attacks and were very difficult for them to overcome. You may have felt some of these yourself.

Not only did they have an overwhelming feeling as if they were going to lose control or perhaps that death was imminent, they also experienced such things as cold sweats and heart palpitations. Many of these things were happening far too frequently for them to be simply all in their head, as many of the doctors were suggesting. Rather, it was a very serious problem that needed to be taken care of by somebody who knew what they were talking about.

Fortunately, this person found somebody that was able to help them and believe it or not, the solution to their problem was so simple that it only took taking a single natural pill every day in order to overcome it. The problem that they were dealing with was a simple vitamin deficiency and they were able to overcome the panic attacks permanently and quickly by supplementing with this vitamin.

There are so many people that are experiencing anxiety attacks regularly that have a problem with vitamin deficiencies as the root of the problem. The most common deficiency that an individual suffers from is vitamin B and by adding this into your diet regularly through pills from the health store, you may be able to overcome your panic attacks and to deal with them successfully. Why is that?

To put it quite simply, an anxiety attack is not a disease and it is not the problem. All an anxiety attack is, in many cases, is a warning symptom that your body is giving you that it needs something or some kind of care. Even though there may be times whenever there are other problems which are causing these anxiety attacks, supplementation of vitamin B or other important vitamins is a great place to start. If you’re able to solve the problem from the root instead of simply overcoming these symptoms, you will be able to overcome it permanently.

If you are suffering from anxiety attacks, try supplementing your diet with a variety of different vitamins and you would be surprised with how quickly it will work. This might just be the key to help you to overcome your panic attacks from the root and to solve them permanently.

What To Do About Panic Attacks While Driving

You might have never had any sort of difficulty while driving when suddenly something comes over you without warning. If you’ve ever had this happen to you, you might be afraid to drive.

While some may tell you to overcome this fear by confronting it and driving more frequently, this only works if your panic attack was caused by a fear of driving. The best way to handle this is to learn how to deal with panic attacks while driving so that you can be better prepared and feel calmer while you drive.

If you have not experienced a panic attack you might not recognize the clammy hands, shakes, and mounting terror as a panic. Your anxiety may be brought on by worrying over your safety on the road, a car breakdown in the middle of nowhere, or getting trapped in traffic.

At the onset of a panic attack while you are driving your car, pull over. During a panic attack, it seems that all cars are racing towards you. That is just your imagination or ugly intrusive thoughts going haywire. Sit up straight, take a deep breath, and regulate your breathing until you are relaxed. Breathing in through your noise and exhaling through your mouth can lessen the attack.

A panic attack may last for anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes, so take all the time you need to calm down. If you have some water handy, have a drink. Dehydration can cause or exacerbate panic attacks. If you’ve been prescribed medication for your condition, take one of these pills and relax as you wait for the attack to end. It’s a good idea to keep a bottle of water in your car and a brown paper bag to breathe in. You’ll get over an attack quicker if you ride it out instead of trying to fight it.

Preventing those attacks is better than a pound of cure. To avert panic attacks, take vitamin B complex as part of your preventive regimen. This vitamin family is recommended for people who are stressed out. Since Vitamin B complex is water soluble, there is no harm in taking the vitamins daily to supplement your diet but ask your doctor for the correct daily dosage for your age and gender.

Follow doctor’s orders. If you are signing up for therapeutic counselling, be consistent with your attendance. During those sessions, you can get help and be inspired by the stories of others trying to beat panic attacks.

If you tend to have panic attacks while driving, you should always have someone else with you when you drive. If your panic attacks are especially severe or frequent, you may even want to have them drive instead. Simply having another person there can greatly reduce the anxiety which often leads to panic attacks.

My Story about Anxiety Attacks

I certainly was no stranger to anxiety attacks as my mother was having them whenever I was a young child. That was back during a time whenever nobody really talked about the fact that they have anxiety attacks, and everybody did what they could to be able to hide it from public view. Times certainly have changed, and now it is not unusual for people to openly admit that they are dealing with this type of the situation.

I knew that anxiety attacks tended to run in families, but I felt as if I was going to be okay because I was a fairly carefree person who did not worry over much. It was whenever I was in my 20s that I first started to experience anxiety attacks, and it really took me by surprise. As a matter of fact, my first anxiety attack had me wondering whether I was actually having a heart attack because of the symptoms I was experiencing.

It didn’t stop there, and the anxiety attacks that I was having ended up occurring on a more frequent basis and we’re gaining in intensity to the point where they were difficult to handle. I began to lose control of my life to a certain extent and I was unable to focus my attention to where it needed to be focused. I even begin to stay indoors, fearing that I would have a panic attack in public. That was when I decided to do something about it.

I had done a considerable amount of research on panic attacks and I’ve read that a number of people were able to treat their anxiety naturally and with some success. I had always avoided taking any kind of pharmaceutical treatment for the anxiety, simply because I watched family members go downhill as a result of taking too many pills for their panic. I felt that it was a good idea to try something natural instead.

I began to do more research and absolutely everything that was written about anxiety attacks ended up passing under my nose at some time or another. One thing that I found in my case, is that I was always fighting my way into the anxiety and trying to get to the other side of the anxiety attack quickly. After doing plenty of research, I realized that this was something that was hurting my ability to deal with them.

I stopped fighting the anxiety, and I simply allowed it to go underneath me and I rose on top of it in order to ride it to its completion. This had a twofold effect, one of which was to allow the anxiety to pass by quickly and the other one was that I had far fewer attacks as a result of dealing with it in this way.

Although I do have anxiety from time to time, it is nowhere near the level that it used to be whenever I was dealing with panic attacks regularly. By keeping the coping mechanisms in place in my life and taking care of myself so that I can naturally overcome them, I have been able to successfully get a grip on my anxiety problems.
