Are you frustrated with your web marketing efforts?
I know how you feel. Trying to make money on the internet can be really tough. I posted a new site when I first started only to sit there wait for months for my first sale.
Have you heard of email marketing?
I did. It was almost at the beginning of my efforts at online marketing that I first read about email marketing. Only problem was that I learned you need a huge list. That I did not have.
Michael Jordan is certainly one of if not the greatest basketball players of all time, but I remember his saying, “I have missed far more shots than I ever made.” Maybe we just need a little tweaking.
I think I may have found the missing ingredient. When it comes to selling through emails, I have found a new element that works.
At the very moment I was being told how important email marketing is; I was told don’t do it until you have your own massive opt-in list. Hmmm. How do you get results from selling through emails if you cannot sent out emails without spamming?
By definition sending out unsolicited (no opt-in) emails is spam. People don’t want them. So, do not send them.
Now, the problem becomes clear. Our selling through emails would work, if we could send emails to enough people. But we cannot.
Did you know it is perfectly legal to let someone else send out your email ad to their email list? It is not spam. Instead, it is content for the list owner.
One day I saw this ad from an web marketing service company. They offered to send out my email ad to their huge list of opt-in consumers. In just a few minutes, my ad was delivered to millions.
Since, I really want my own email list; I set up my bulk email campaign to develop my list. My ad promotes my special offer. Usually it is a free ebook. I link it to my opt-in page. Within minutes of the bulk email deliver, I start getting sign ups at my opt-in page. Everyone who joins my opt-in becomes my customer and part of my own email list.
Now I can begin getting much better results. Each time I send out an email, I can expect to strengthen my connection with my email list. Every email promotes traffic and sales.
I try to follow all the customary guidelines when it comes to my emails just to be sure I do it right. I avoid extreme promise, words like free, deep discounts, and emails that are too long.
One thing that is vital for every email is a call to action. When the reader asks themselves, “Why am I reading this?” You call to action will give them an answer they will appreciate.
