After four years or so of hard work and dedication, you graduate from the University feeling ready and enthusiastic about earning your own keep. No longer will you be depending on your parents for financial support. You feel very excited about the prospect of keeping a job and building a career. There are very few opportunities left for fresh graduates like you and even if there were, it is usually contractual. If you believe in Adam Smith’s “Invisible Hand,” then you probably believe that the world is going to recover from the financial crisis that it is going through the ability of the world market to regulate itself guided by an invisible hand. You only have to have a good computer and a reliable internet connection and you are all set. You can do various jobs on-line such as tutoring, typing, data encoding, and nanotech blogger to name a few. You can also find job listings where your degree might be in line with such as Forum Posting Position, Personal Assistant, Marketing Assistant, Corporate Travel Agents, Administrative or Office Assistant, Research Assistant, Biography Ghostwriter and many more. You may even create your own site that can offer services like tutoring and advertising. All these jobs you can work from home.

One of the most exasperating things about looking for a job is that you rarely find jobs that do not mind that you are a fresh graduate at all. The good jobs or the high-paying jobs require you to have at leas 1 to 2 years experience that is related to the job that you are applying for. Some employers would not even bother to read your resume once they see that you have no experience. If you work from home, you will not have to worry about job experiences because the on-line jobs do not really care if you worked a day in your life before. The skills they require are usually basic like speaking a language fluently or the ability to type a specific number of words per minute. If you are really diligent, you may earn more than when you work in an office.

What’s not good about having a boss? A lot. People who have worked under a boss will tell you that most of the time, they dream about making their bosses disappear to oblivions. Bosses demand a lot of your time, sometimes even more than you should be giving them. They demand perfection even if they know that no one is perfect. They can make you do things like pick up their laundry or buy them coffee just because they can. Boss can be angels at times but they are bullies most of the times. If you are tired of your boss breathing down your neck all the time, it’s time you decide to work from home.

Admit it, you hate running errands for your boss who seem to have an unending “to-do-list” for you. After spending almost an hour stuck in traffic, you have to run by the nearest Starbucks to get your boss’ coffee. You arrive ten minutes late and your boss will give you the scolding of your life while sipping the coffee that was reason for your being late. Your afternoon coffee break is spent running to the laundry shop for his or her dry cleaning. It can go on and on or you can work from home and spend your time wisely.

If you cannot stand another day doing tasks that are not work-related for your boss. There are thousand employers you can choose from and they cannot and will not demand unreasonable tasks from you. In fact, they only want that you do your job and beat the deadline. You can also work for an employer who is located halfway around the world if you prefer it that way. The World Wide Web has made it possible for you to have an opportunity to communicate with people belonging to different cultures while you sit in your couch at home.

As for how much you can earn, it will depend on how diligent you are. Your working hours will be less compared to the hours you spend in the office. However, if you are lazy you will more likely not get paid. Just like any work, you have to work hard in order to earn much but unlike an office work, you do not have a boss who will berate you for the most minor mistake. Add that to the pleasure you will surely experience if you work from home and you will surely produce the most meaningful outputs ever in your working life.

You will not have to be adhering to a dress code, you will not have to wait for breaks so you can have a snack or a cigarette and every hard work that you put into your job will pay off. You will never again be passed on for the boss’ favorite no matter hard you worked for a promotion.
