There has been a lot of talk recently about the end of the Mayan calendar. This is not surprising, as it is supposed to end in 2012 which is just around the corner. December 21, 2012 marks the end of the fifth Mayan world and the beginning of the sixth. The Mayans did not give predictions for this sixth world because our fate is unwritten. It is up to us to determine what faces us in the sixth world, a type of nirvana on Earth or the end of our civilization.
Where you live at this time is not really important, it is how you are living that is the key. Preparing for this transition is not about moving yourself physically, it is about transforming yourself spiritually. We can only discover our potentials both as individuals and as a people by working towards enlightenment of the spirit.
But you may want to considering living as close to a spiritual community as possible. By working towards your development with others, it should be easier to reach your goals. And the energetic vibration is undoubtedly higher when working as a group than alone. Many communities have been created throughout the world by people who believe in the prophecies and are trying to prepare themselves.
There are also certain areas in the world where the energetic vibration of the earth is at a higher level. Even if you do not realize this is what you are feeling, you naturally feel more centered and at peace in places like these. Examples of strong energetic centers include Nepal and the areas surrounding Cuzco in Peru.
Where to live if the 2012 prophecies are true? In complete and total harmony, with everyone and everything in the universe is where you need to be. The most important lesson to be had from the 2012 prophecies is that developing spiritually is the key for moving into a more evolved existence in the sixth world.
