20 Minutes Is All You Need to Create 20 Killer Benefit Statements in Copywriting For the Web

Thinking up great benefit statements has always been the most challenging part of copywriting for the web. And benefit statements are critical to selling your readers to try your products, services, and ideas, second only to the headline.

In comparison, the other parts of copywriting that people might find challenging, such as stories, headlines, and great price offers were easy. But creating a benefits list drove me crazy; that is until I learned how to come up with one or more benefits every minute.

Any basic sales course will tell you that features don’t sell a product or service, benefits do. Understanding that, I wanted to understand what exactly benefits really are. They are just things that help you take (or not take action), right? For example, you “lose” weight or “make” money. So, what do you think about starting out each benefit statement with a verb that takes action? The process goes like this:

1. Alphabetize a long list of action verbs.

2. On your computer or desk, spread out the list so you can see the whole thing.

3. Begin with the first verb in your list that begins with the letter A and read the verb out loud and make a sentence out of it that describes one benefit of your product.

For example, the first word in my list of verbs is “Accelerate.”

Then, my descriptive sentence might be that my service helps “accelerate” the time it takes to learn to read Spanish.

4. Write benefits until you can’t think of any more, and don’t think of quitting early! You can cut out those that don’t have as much impact later. You don’t need to stop to think if you are writing duplicate phrases down either, now is not the time. Just keep an open mind and write down any benefit statements that come to mind about your product or service.

5. Now you organize your benefit list in order of priority from most important benefit to last.

This process has worked for me to write great benefits statements, as well as when coming up with article ideas for my blog, such as “35 Reasons Why a Blog is Better than a Traditional Web Site for Your Business,” or “50 Ways to Kill a Perfectly Good Seminar”.

Use my list of verbs or create your own and start creating your killer benefit statements in just 20 minutes. Usually, 20 benefits is more than enough to create great sales copy.

The Christian That Is Two Faced

Sadly, a large number of Christians are found to be different in their houses or with their friends than at their place of worship.

When with believers, the average Christian has it all together. He shows a passion and a desire for relationship with God and other people, an amazing insight into what it means to know God and His word.

Outside the church walls, these perfect Christians are drastically different. Telling all sorts of lies or cheating people out of their money or things is a regular occurrence for them. Conning those they do business with or having flings with coworkers is something they approve of. It is a curious matter how these tricky Christians make great efforts to keep their dark actions hidden away. Extreme caution is used to make sure those that hang out at church don’t have a clue about these sinful activities.

Can Christians really live life in two different ways? The number one reason why Christians can live like this has to do with their capacity to lie. Killers and rapists sometimes get away with their crimes because they live a big lie and show society that they are normal, like the majority. When studying these people it is shocking to uncover that even those close to some criminals were clueless that they were killers or rapists.

Such killers were indulging a fantasy while living in the real world because of how well they were able to deceive everyone.

The second factor of the double life Christian has to do with the evil human heart. God condemns sinful actions even if we only commit them in the heart.

Jesus captured this idea in the Sermon on the Mount. He said, “You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘Do not murder,’ . . . But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment” (Matt. 5:21-22).

Imagine, I can consider myself good for not committing a crime but by getting mad at the people close to me I am not much different than someone living a double life, and will be rewarded for doing what a killer does.

Anger paralyzes us, as it seems to overpower us to do the regrettable. We snap at our spouse or children without realizing that they are being caused pain. Afterward we are stuck trying to fix a difficult situation.

In conclusion, it is important to realize that what we do in our hiding place is seen by God and the things of the heart are to Him as the committed action.

My inclination toward murder on the inside makes me an automatic two faced Christian even though on the outside I seem like a nice lad.

Think about how much time you are willing to dedicate to article marketing. Develop a plan and consistently executive on that plan day after day and week after week. You can achieve greater results if you develop a consistent approach to article marketing.

Write articles consistently over time. Develop your articles to include specific keywords oriented toward your target market. Your articles should be around 500 words in length and focus on only one topic at a time. After writing your article make sure you proof it for common errors in spelling and grammar.

Submit to article directories. Make sure that you are submitting you completed articles to a number of popular article directories. You want your article to be posted on as many third party websites as possible. Start with the most popular directories like GoArticles.com and work down the list. Focus on those with a high Google PR and then move to those which are less popular.

Article marketing is a great technique for achieving expert status, building links to your website, and promoting your products. Consider using article marketing to achieve your online marketing goals. Start with a basic plan and deliver consistently. Your results will come quickly and are sustainable over the long term.

The question is how you can use these products to improve online sales and enhance the value of your online offerings. When thinking about private label rights products and software packages, there are numerous options for reselling or repackaging these assets to support your online marketing initiatives. In this article I provide a number of ways that you can package and resell these products to create a continuous revenue stream.

Develop Bundles. By grouping related PLR products within a specific niche, you can target a specific segment. Create New Products. Once you have found a niche and accessed PLR products, you can then create unique products that meet the need of your niche or audience. As a result, you will have products that no other site is using and can shape a unique offering around that product. The benefit of product creation is that you have something unique to offer that is not available anywhere else. An additional benefit is that you can price your product independently and determine how best to distribute giving variable rights and licenses.

A fantastic way to market your product is by developing an exclusive report about the niche you are serving. When you distribute this report you can start to collect names of target customers and let your auto responder move them through the purchase decision process.

Using private label rights informational products or software to start making money online is a great way to supplement your income. Start by purchasing access to a private label rights website and then determine the best way to utilize your PLR content and software. Many individuals build their own businesses using this content others use software as an added bonus to sell their own products and services. No matter how you plan on using PLR content, there are a variety of ways to resell the content for profit.
