2012 Online Movie

One of the biggest blockbuster movies of the year 2009 was “2012″ directed by Roland Emmerich of “The Independence Day” fame. This is an epic disaster/adventure movie which is based on global cataclysm i.e. natural disasters. The story takes its root from the predictions in the Mesoamerican Long Count Calendar and the Mayan calendar which states that the world will be destroyed completely by the year 2012 due to certain climatic changes. You can watch 2012 online free at your home with a good internet connection.

Before watching 2012 online free, let me brief you about some of the important facts about this movie so that you will understand what the director is actually trying to explain. The Mesoamerican Long Count Calendar ends on December 21 2012 after running for 5125 years. So many scholars believe that the end of the calendar means the end of the world as a result of many climatic changes and catastrophic events like the volcano eruptions, earthquakes etc.

Many would find this stuff too greasy. But believe me, if you read some of the true facts about the predictions in the Maya Calendar and predictions of the famous French seer Nostradamus then you will be finding this movie quite amusing. Both the Maya or the Mayan Calendar and Nostradamus predict that world will face many climatic changes which will ultimately lead to its destruction. How could all the three predictions point to the same date? Is it true that the world will face its end by 2012?

Either you accept this fact or deny this fact, I do not care. All I care about is the fact that 2012 movie is simply awesome with some of the stunning visuals one can ever watch; such is the excellence in the cinematography of this movie. The movie moves at break-neck pace and is packed with all ingredients of action, adventure and drama. The catastrophic events like the earthquake and volcanic eruptions are so realistic and mind blowing that you will be thrilled.

Let us come to the crew of this epic adventure movie. The movie is directed by Roland Emmerich as told earlier. The story was written by Roland Emmerich along with Harald Kloser. John Cussack and Amanda Peet don the major roles in the movie along with Chiwetel Ejiofor. The other supporting actors in the movie are Oliver Patt, Thandi Newton, Jimi Mistry and many eminent actors. The music is scored by Harald Kloser and Thomas Wander. Dean Semler is the cinematographer of this movie.

Believe me guys, this is an edge of the seat thriller and is a must-watch movie for all of them. This movie will enthrall all movie goers with its excellent screenplay. My personal advice is to watch this movie in the theatre although you can watch 2012 movie online free as many have uploaded this movie in their websites. Watching this movie online is not a bad option because enjoying this movie cozily in front of your PC with no external disturbances and a cup of tea/coffee is an experience of its own.

Where To Live If The 2012 Prophecies Are True? As Close To A State Of Grace As Possible

There has been a lot of talk recently about the end of the Mayan calendar. This is not surprising, as it is supposed to end in 2012 which is just around the corner. Many people want to know, where to live if the 2012 prophecies are true. If we are really coming to the end of the world, is there any place that is safer to live than others?

First of all, the prophecies do not actually signal that the world will come to an end. This is a common misconception. The prophecies are about transition, which means a beginning as well as an ending, and is not inherently a bad thing.

The transition is meant to refer to our consciousness, not the universe. This current time is meant to be our opportunity, an opportunity to change our path. Mankind has been indisputably on a path of self destruction. The next three years mark our chance to make a transition to a path that we walk in peace and harmony.

It is only if we are unable to make this transition that the new world will come with catastrophe and destruction. Only through development of our spirits will we be able to switch from a fear-based culture to one that is peaceful. Where we are in that spiritual development in 2012 will determine whether our race is doomed to disappear or if, instead, we will enter a stage in development never before realized.

December 21, 2012 marks the end of the fifth Mayan world and the beginning of the sixth. The Mayans did not give predictions for this sixth world because our fate is unwritten. It is up to us to determine what faces us in the sixth world, a type of nirvana on Earth or the end of our civilization.

Where you live at this time is not really important, it is how you are living that is the key. Preparing for this transition is not about moving yourself physically, it is about transforming yourself spiritually. We can only discover our potentials both as individuals and as a people by working towards enlightenment of the spirit.

But you may want to considering living as close to a spiritual community as possible. By working towards your development with others, it should be easier to reach your goals. And the energetic vibration is undoubtedly higher when working as a group than alone. Many communities have been created throughout the world by people who believe in the prophecies and are trying to prepare themselves.

There are also certain areas in the world where the energetic vibration of the earth is at a higher level. Even if you do not realize this is what you are feeling, you naturally feel more centered and at peace in places like these. Examples of strong energetic centers include Nepal and the areas surrounding Cuzco in Peru.

Where to live if the 2012 prophecies are true? In complete and total harmony, with everyone and everything in the universe is where you need to be. The most important lesson to be had from the 2012 prophecies is that developing spiritually is the key for moving into a more evolved existence in the sixth world.

Book Review - Sword Of The Truth

This book review is for the Sword of the Truth Series, by Terry Goodkind. Since my reading scope on the classic Fantasy genre is not very broad, I may not be the best source to rely on this for this book review. With that disclaimer thrown out there, I must admit that this is my favorite Fantasy series. As soon as I picked up the first book, Wizard’s First Rule, I was enthralled. I could not wait to read the second book, then the third, and so on (I believe there are ten books in total). The author has the most prized ability to make all of the characters incredibly real to the readers. Even the villains throughout the series seem to be alive, and I felt like I could understand their motivations. To me, that makes the “bad guy” a lot more intimidating; because they are so believable in what they are doing. There are more than one villain in this series, though they are usually presented one at a time, each new villain even more frightening than the previous one.

While I really enjoyed reading this series, it is not recommended for the faint of heart. There are some seriously dark conflicts presented that the protagonists have to work through. If you are sensitive about violence, this book may not be for you. With that being said, I did admire how the author was able to talk about some horrendously evil things while not going into too much detail. He was able to skim over the nitty gritty parts while still painting a vivid picture. In the first book, he does give graphic detail to a torture scene, but it seemed true to the story because we were in the hero’s head while he was figuring out how to cope with the situation, and it made him a very strong character to be admired through the other books.

I also loved how the author made very strong female characters. They were able to hold their own and fight battles in the face of serious conflict. The female protagonist was a character that I very much looked up to.

The author was able to create many plots for each book, making every book hold its own interesting story while continuing on the basic plot that began with the first book. The plot twists were well done and believable, and the character development was practically flawless.

I have been asked my opinion on the mini-series based on the books. I think it is called Legends of the Seeker, or something similar to that. While I have never watched more than one episode all the way through, I can honestly say that the show held no power over me. I did not care for the cast chosen to play such strong characters, and the plot lines seemed totally different from the series. Granted, I may not have given the show much of a chance with only watching one episode, but if it doesn’t pull me in from the beginning, then I do not think it is worth the effort to try and give it another chance.

So, the question is, will I keep these books and add them to my library? Definitely. I could read each of these books again and still be completely enthralled and thoroughly entertained!
